Who we are
Emerald Exteriors is a residential roofing, siding, gutter, and window contractor serving the Omaha metro. This policy covers emeraldroofingandexteriors.com and the forms, chat, and phone contact that start from it. It does not cover the separate agreements you sign for actual work on your home.
Questions, requests, or complaints about privacy can go to info@emeraldexteriors.com or (402) 330-0999, or by mail to 2435 South 156th Circle, Omaha, NE 68130.
Information we collect
We keep this narrow on purpose. We collect what we need to schedule an inspection, quote a job, and run the site — nothing else.
- Information you give us
- Name, phone number, email address, property address, and whatever you type into an inspection request, a chat window, or an email — typically the service you need and a description of the problem.
- Information about your project
- Photos, measurements, and notes from an on-site inspection, plus estimates, scopes of work, and correspondence. If you ask us to work with your insurance carrier, that includes claim numbers and adjuster contact information you provide.
- Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and time on page, gathered through cookies and similar technologies when you browse the site.
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information through this website. Please don't send them through the contact form or chat.
How we use it
- Scheduling and performing inspections, estimates, and installations.
- Responding to your questions by phone, text, email, or chat.
- Preparing and supporting insurance claims when you ask us to.
- Sending service reminders, warranty information, and occasional updates about our work.
- Measuring which pages and ads bring homeowners to us, so we can spend less on advertising that doesn't work.
- Meeting legal, tax, licensing, and insurance obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Calls, texts, and email
When you submit a form or call us, you're asking us to contact you back about your project. We may reach you by phone, text message, or email at the contact information you provide, including through an automated scheduling system. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of purchasing anything from us.
Message and data rates may apply to texts. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We will still send transactional messages about work already scheduled or in progress.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic function and for measurement. The third-party tools currently in use are:
- Google Analytics
- Aggregate traffic measurement — which pages get read, where visitors come from, how they move through the site. You can opt out across all sites with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Meta Pixel
- Measures which Facebook and Instagram ads lead to inspection requests, and lets us show ads to people who have visited the site. You can manage this in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.
- Web chat and form widgets
- Our chat widget and inspection forms are hosted by our CRM provider, which receives what you type in order to deliver it to us.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law. Blocking cookies won't break the site, though some analytics and chat features may stop working.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers who work on our behalf — our CRM and scheduling platform, email and text messaging providers, analytics and advertising platforms, and payment processors. They may use it only to provide services to us.
- Subcontractors, suppliers, and manufacturers when your project requires it — for example, submitting a warranty registration or ordering material to your address.
- Your insurance carrier or adjuster, when you have asked us to assist with a claim.
- Lenders or financing partners, only if you apply for financing through us.
- Law enforcement, regulators, or courts when required by law, and to a successor if our business is sold or reorganized.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that don't turn into projects are kept for a few years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back. Records tied to completed work — contracts, photos, invoices, warranty documentation — are kept for as long as the workmanship warranty runs and as long as tax, insurance, and licensing rules require. Analytics data is retained according to each platform's default retention period.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and we limit access to customer records to the people who need them. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee against every possible breach — but we do not store payment card numbers on this website.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you what personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. You can opt out of marketing calls, texts, and emails at any time without affecting work already under contract. Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email info@emeraldexteriors.com or call (402) 330-0999. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we'll respond within the time frame the applicable law allows. Some records — signed contracts, warranty files, tax records — we're required to keep even after a deletion request.
Children
This site is meant for homeowners and other adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we'll delete it.
Links to other sites
Our exterior visualizer, financing applications, review platforms, and manufacturer warranty pages are operated by other companies under their own privacy policies. Once you leave this site, this policy no longer applies.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
