Emerald Exteriors
Service · Windows

Windows shape the light, the comfort, and the utility bill.

A window replacement does more than update the look — it seals out drafts, quiets the street, and eases the load on your heating and cooling. We help you choose frames and glass that fit your home and your climate, then install them tight and finished.

Why replace

Old windows leak the comfort you're paying for.

Failed seals, worn weatherstripping, and single-pane glass let heat walk straight out of the room. You feel it as drafts and cold spots — and pay for it every month. New units close the envelope back up.

  • Cuts drafts, cold spots, and heat lost through the glass
  • Eases the load on your furnace and air conditioner
  • Quiets road and neighborhood noise
  • Ends the fogging and condensation of failed seals
  • Improves security, operation, and curb appeal

New windows are comfort you feel daily and efficiency you see on the bill — in one project.

Materials we install

The shortlist, not the catalog.

We install a focused set of window lines chosen for how they handle Nebraska's temperature swings — in the operating styles most Omaha homes call for: double-hung, casement, slider, picture, and awning. We match the frame and glass to your home, not one product to every house.

Design with certainty

See the new windows on your house before they're ordered.

Frame color, grille pattern, and proportions change a facade more than most homeowners expect. Our photorealistic rendering puts the options on a photo of your actual home, so the choice is settled before anything is measured for order.

  • Compare frame colors against your siding and trim
  • Test grille patterns and window styles
  • Match new units to the look you're after
  • Coordinate windows with siding or roofing in the same view

When you can see it on your own house, the decision stops being a guess.

Why your contractor matters

Independent by design.

Window sales has a reputation for one-visit pressure and a single house brand. We stay independent and unhurried — the recommendation follows your home and climate, not a quota.

We answer to your home, not a supplier.

  • Recommend across window lines, not a single brand
  • Match frame and glass to each room's exposure
  • Install to the manufacturer's spec so the warranty holds

A window is only as good as its installation — a perfect unit set poorly still leaks air and water. We flash, seal, and finish the opening as carefully as we choose the window.

Lifetime workmanship warranty.

Every window we install carries a lifetime workmanship warranty, and the window itself carries the manufacturer's warranty — typically a limited lifetime, transferable term depending on the line. Ours covers how it's installed; theirs covers the product.

Included in the Emerald Eye inspection

Findings backed by evidence, not assumptions.

  • 01We review the roof system — shingles, ventilation, penetrations, and visible wear.
  • 02We assess siding, trim, soffit, fascia, gutters, windows, and attic conditions when relevant.
  • 03We walk every elevation to flag damage, deterioration, or construction concerns.
  • 04We photograph and document everything, so every recommendation traces back to what we actually saw.
Common questions

What homeowners ask us first.

Don't see your question? Call or email us — we answer both, quickly. (402) 330-0999.

Do I have to replace every window at once?
No. Many homeowners start with the worst rooms — the drafty ones or the failed seals — and phase the rest. We'll help you prioritize by condition and comfort, and show you what we found in the inspection photos.
Will new windows lower my energy bills?
Usually, especially replacing single-pane or failed units — a meaningful share of a home's heating and cooling can escape through poor windows. How much you save depends on your current windows and the glass package, and we'll be straight about the range.
My windows are foggy — can you just fix the glass?
Sometimes, but fogging means the seal has failed and the insulating gas is gone. On older units, replacing the window is usually the longer-lasting fix. We'll tell you which makes sense for yours.
Can you match my existing windows?
In most cases, yes — frame color, grille pattern, and style. And before anything is ordered, we can render the options on a photo of your home so you see the match in context.
